Melissa Iamonico:
Melissa Iamonico's love affair with libraries officially started when she worked as a page during her high school years...and the good news is, that it has never stopped! She holds a B.A and M.A. from Manhattanville College. These days, Melissa spends her worklife between the Purchase Free and the Chappaqua Libraries. She feels that to date, the best decision she ever made was attending library school. A fringe benefit of this decision is the opportunity to be in the company of all of the wonderful people she has met and been fortunate enough to work alongside. Melissa looks forward to graduating from Long Island University in December, and is very thankful to be the recipient of this scholarship. In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling, seeing movies, and spending time with her friends and loved ones.
