Engage in lively informal networking with colleagues and friends and
peruse the hottest books of 2009 which will be on display. We
will have salad, pizza, desserts and delicious libations.

6:45-7:00pm
Welcoming/Opening remarks by John Sexton, Judith Rovenger & WLA
Youth Services Section Think Tank members

7:00-8:00pm
Breakout sessions for each award category will be lead by local
librarians - bring your choice(s) to booktalk/champion/share for the
2010 Caldecott, Newbery or Printz Awards and speculate on which ones
will be the ALA winners.

8:00-8:30pm
Reconvene as a big group to hear Breakout Session Summaries, share
thoughts/opinions on titles published in 2009 and Raffle Prize
Drawing.
Will
your favorites be awarded the coveted prizes this time around? Let’s
get together and talk about it!
